ProjectQuest:PIMA (PQ:P) – a TAC Performance and Interactive Media Arts project for teens 2014-2015
PQ:P was a seven month exploration of questions that were important to a dozen teenagers who came together from diverse backgrounds culturally, economically and educationally. Throughout the seven months, the students worked with professionals from several disciplines, including ballroom dancing, carpentry, acting, architecture, moving light programming, projection and many other occupations. These trainings helped the students develop the skills to create a performance based on their questions, which they centered on their large question: What are the steps from dystopia to utopia? Why is this a cycle and can the cycle be broken?
